Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are made available.

The elite racial Shield Razortail For instance, it is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item such as an armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item for a different one similar one with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition and any wasted resources aren't rewarded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.

Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by melee and weapons, while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces, remains on the space till the next success is to be rerolled. This is a way to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they're opened, they display a full description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.

During an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.

Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. It's an excellent choice for those who wish to get an edge in battle but don't want to strain their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item onto an entirely new piece of equipment.

For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to acquire them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets players increase the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item is attained.

Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a specific number of items to be added, as well as a minimum amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left one is where players can place a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing  item upgrades  after is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.

When an item reaches its highest level, upgrades will not be available to it. Likewise, once an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g.  item upgrader  or Explorer), upgrades to that track will have discounts.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this could destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

The items can be upgraded by adding  item upgrade  components to equipment and weapons. These will provide extra effects or an increased item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade element is inserted into an item, it cannot be removed and substituted without restriction, however the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.

Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the item's stats.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and gives an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Certain items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats and more because it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

When you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will display an in-game window that lists the required requirements. This includes the type of item (either weapon or armor) the tier of that item, the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will put an item in your inventory when you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close you are towards getting the upgrade completed. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
